The IGNITE! Conference, now in its fourth year, brings together marketing and CX professionals to share best practices, proven tools, smart ideas, and inspiring stories on how to positively influence customers’ experiences to improve their interactions and increase brand loyalty.

Ignite! 2021 promises to be a hands-on mental workout that will push you to up your game, motivate your team, strengthen your company’s results, and advance your career. This year’s conference is virtual, and you’ll have access to content for continued learning after the event.

The Ignite Conference is presented by the Cincinnati chapter of the American Marketing Association and is open to anyone who wants to attend.

IGNITE! 2021 will take place virtually on Tuesday, April 20 and Wednesday, April 21.

The hours of the conference are 12:00 – 5:00 pm (Eastern Standard) both days. There will be 15-minute breaks between each activity to allow you to rest your eyes and focus better on the sessions. See the full agenda.

Before the conference, be sure to set up your profiles on the two platforms that will be used, Eventsential and Toucan. Follow the instructions below or click here to view a short how-to video.

Eventsential Setup:

This platform is the dashboard that we’ll use throughout the conference where you can select your schedule, learn about our partners and community give-back organization, and even have an opportunity to win amazing prizes!

  1. On a desktop: Open up your email from noreply@rdmobile.com. Log in using the same email address you used to register for the conference and select a password.On a mobile device: Go to the App Store/Google Play and download the Eventsential app.
  2. Fill out your profile. To view and edit your individual profile, click on your name in the upper right-hand corner. Then add/edit your bio, company, website, or phone number. For the best interactive experience, fill out your profile completely including a headshot!
  3. Check out the event platform in advance to familiarize yourself with the navigation. Once the conference begins, you will be able to click on the session link, and it will open in your Zoom app. You’ll use Zoom to view speakers’ presentations and ask questions via the chat.
  4. Plan your personalized schedule by clicking the calendar icon next to each session and select My Schedule to view.

Toucan Setup:
This platform will host our Power Studios —these are interactive breakout sessions where you’ll get to engage directly with our speakers and network with other conference attendees in small groups!

  1. Visit toucan.events to create a profile.
  2. Click Join for Free to upload your photo and credentials.

At IGNITE! 2021, you can look forward to a fully customizable virtual experience that revolves around the most relevant and important issues in marketing and customer experience. There will be opportunities to interact with presenters, along with small-group interactive discussions with other professionals.

You have the opportunity to pick and choose which presentations you most prefer, and access all the sessions on demand following the conference.

We have organized the conference into five “Circuit Breakouts” (or tracks):

  • Creating Value (Powerlifting Sessions)
  • Eliciting Engagement (Flexibility Sessions)
  • Harnessing Technology (Coordination Sessions)
  • Motivating People Power (Endurance Sessions)
  • Discovering Customer Insights (Speed Sessions)

You’ll have the opportunity to stick with a single workout session or mix and match to get a taste of everything.
