More products = more money, right? Find new ways to increase stamina and endurance through the vital function of design research: prevention. Stopping a ship before it hits an iceberg would be applauded. Training our organizations to approach so-called “failed” projects with a flexible mindset, can lead to a savings in millions of dollars in development costs. Preventive design can help us shift toward celebrating purpose-driven outputs rather than output for the sake of output.
